Gajanan tells Gupta that he wants to get Rachita married to Ramashrey, but Sumitra refuses. Gupta apologises to Gajanan on Sumitra's behalf. Ramashrey tells Sumitra that he is in love with Rachita. Dev tells Sumitra about his plan against Gajanan. Sumitra agrees to get the two married.
