Anil becomes depressed when his cafe starts struggling after a new rival restaurant opens nearby. In an attempt to help, Basil takes him to a cookery class run by Ainsley Harriott, but the lesson does nothing to improve Anil's cooking. The owner of the new restaurant, Orso, then buys the cafe for £50, and the health inspector shuts it down, resulting in Anil getting his cafe back.
